Dr. Andy Roberts kicked it off with an amazing talk on raising the standard in our offices so that our “experience” rivals that of Disney’s. I have since created an experience checklist for my office, Thanks Dr. Roberts! Dr. Thad spoke about the mission of the UCHC along with the need to unite. Dr. B.J Kale reminded us where we came from! His journey through the HISTORY sent chills through my spine. His message keeps on keeping on at www.theTICblog.com. Dr. Tom Gibson spoke about the amazing media work that Dr. Dill is doing to dominate in the Bay area. Check out www.gethope-getwell-livelife.com. Dr. Dill closed it up with an amazing insight into how we make all of our decisions. EMOTIONS! He helped us understand them and we dug into the application. Dr. Dill is a true Genius at applying the MOST current information. Responding to the flurry of emails, I am posting the actual slide so that you may use the stats! I was very excited to hear the feedback and look forward to more comments.

The Problem

We have a huge problem in Healthcare. We are spending 2.3 trillion dollars per year only to have the distinct award of having a healthcare system that is also our number one killer.

The Solution

It is happening right now. Just check out Paul Zane Pilzers book, The Wellness Revolution. I also referenced a recent study that points out the fact that an overwhelming 81% of surveyed companies will implement some sort of wellness initiative next year. The Wellness train is full speed ahead.

The Kicker

The train is headed in the wrong direction. 91% surveyed that their #1 intervention to reduce health care costs were to implement prescription compliance policy’s!!!!!! Yes That is what I said.

Our Opportunity and Revolution

We have the secret Sauce! We, as Chiropractors, have the INNATE view on the problem. We are holding the real solution and it is time for us to step up and claim our position in Health care. It is very simple. We just need to commit to presenting Wellness Programs in our local business community.
