You've Graduated...Now What?

For a lot of us graduating Chiropractic school is the single greatest accomplishment in ones life. Unfortunately this "Win" is quickly mitigated as you must make an important decision that will blaze the trail for your career.

There are a lot of different scenarios that are possible however most of us end up into one of these 5 categories

Associate - Hired as an employee with a salary and sometimes a bonus. Most of these end up with you as an “over flow” Doctor. Typically little training and left on your own for marketing.

Independent Contractor - You pay a monthly lease which gives you access space, equipment, front desk and staff. In my opinion this scenario is perfect for the D.C. That knows what they are doing and wants to build a patient base before moving it into their own practice.

Go it Alone - You got money, you got talent...You’re ready for business. Just do it!

Partner - In my opinion, partnerships rarely work, however I know of a few that are super successful. Do your homework.

Don’t practice - Change of heart or you take a position as a teacher, researcher or politician.

The Apprenticeship!

	For me this is the defining moment. It is my opinion that the best way to transfer knowledge is through a process called modeling. It is hypothesized that 90 % of communication is NON-VERBAL and therefore transferring knowledge is more of a challenge through seminars, coaching, manuals and CD’s.
	Furthermore, most successful Doctors have been honing their skills for years and are working at a level called unconscious competence. This means they are in such a zone that they really don’t know what they are doing right and if they are not sure what thy are doing right, How can they transfer knowledge?
	At Achieving Wellness centers you will enter an Apprenticeship. This means you will work right next to successful Upper Cervical Chiropractor who loves to see high volume. You will innately pick up on all the non-verbal communication.You are plugged into a support network of Chiropractors who have been through the process.
	Upon successful completion of you apprenticeship we will open a satellite office for you based on perfected business skills along with your personal design flare.
	When ready we will continue to transfer more responsibility onto you until you are ready to take full control of the practice. At this point you own the practice outright with no franchise, licensing or royalty fee. You OWN YOUR DREAM PRACTICE.
